* 무인칭 독립분사구문
독립분사구문에서 one, we와 같은 일반인을 나타내는 의미상의 주어는 생략하는 경우가 있다.
Generally speaking, women live longer than man. = If we speak generally, ~
(일반적으로 말해서, 여자가 남자보다 오래 산다.)
Judging from his accent, he must be an Italian. = If we judge from his accent, ~
(그의 액센트로 판단하면, 그는 이태리 사람임에 틀림없다.)
Excepting my mother, who is sick, we are all right. (분사의 전치사적 용법)
(아프신 어머니를 제외하고 우리 모두는 잘 있습니다.)

1. 엄격히 말해서 이 문장은 정확하지 못하다.
Strictly speaking, this sentence is not correct.
2. 모든 것을 고려해 볼 때 그의 운명은 행복한 것이었다.
Taking all things into consideration, his lot was a happy one.
