The Ants and the Grasshopper
While a grasshopper spent the summer singing songs, the ants kept
gathering grain for the long winter.
On a fine winter day, when the ants were busy drying the grain, the hungry
grasshopper came to beg for some food.
"Give me some food, please."
"If you spent summer being foolish, you should dance all day without food
in winter," the ant said to the grasshopper.
"I was so foolish!" The grasshopper burst into tears.

베짱이 한 마리가 여름내 노래를 부르는 동안 개미들은 긴 겨울 동안 먹을 곡식을 모았어요.
어느 볕 좋은 겨울날 개미들이 곡식 말리기에 바쁠 때, 배고픈 베짱이가 음식을 구걸하러 왔어요.
"음식을 좀 주세요." "여름을 바보같이 보냈다면 겨울에는 먹을 것 없이 온종일 춤을 춰야 해요."
라고 개미는 베짱이에게 말했어요. "난 정말 바보였어!" 베짱이는 눈물을 터트렸어요.
